Run code-based voting through business chat
Create a campaign with a start and end time, add the people or choices voters can select, then connect its keyword to the voting action in WABs.
Explore WABsHow voters participate
- Create a campaign and set its voting period and keyword.
- Add each contestant or option with a name and a unique code.
- Connect the keyword to the campaign's voting action.
- Voters message the keyword followed by an entry code on a connected WhatsApp or Telegram channel.
For example, a campaign might ask voters to send AWARDS ACT01. The campaign owner can choose free voting or require payment through the configured payment flow before a vote is counted.
Choose the voting rules and review results
Campaign settings let the organiser decide whether voters can select multiple entries and whether the same entry may be voted for repeatedly. The dashboard provides date-filtered results, a ranked summary, CSV exports for results and individual votes, and email reports. Organisers can also configure external email recipients to receive a transparency notification when a vote is recorded.
Paid campaigns: The payment provider must be configured and available for the company. A paid vote is recorded after payment verification; simply receiving a payment link does not count as a vote. Payment availability and currency follow the configured gateway.
Keep a clear record of the campaign
Use entry codes consistently in posters and messages. Set the campaign dates before sharing its keyword, then use the report filters and exports to share the results with organisers or auditors. WABs records the voter phone number and channel with a vote for campaign administration; it is not an anonymous polling service.
